Restaurant Renoir, inside the Sofitel. I never thought I could eat in a buffet setting until I discovered Renoir’s Sunday brunch. Wow! There are so many gluten free options (and it’s all you can eat) and everything is so beautiful and magnificent! Love, love, love this place. Of course, I can only afford it once or twice a year but it’s a brunch to remember:)
Maison Boulud, inside Ritz-Carlton. Enough said. Haha just kidding. But if you are into this kind of fancy, they know how to treat you right when it comes to gluten or other food allergies/sensitivities. I’ll just post pictures.
The Keg: Yes, its a chain, yes its the Keg, but its the safe choice if you want to get a good quality steak and a great service, with very knowledgeable staff that knows exactly what gluten is and how to serve gluten intolerance public. I love coming here and always feel respected when ordering with my special needs. Yum!
Another chain restaurant, a good place for a steak and veggies, if you need to have a business meeting, or just craving emergency steak for lunch, or just because you can’t find anything else. I find it a bit overpriced and just not that breathtaking, but definitely a safe choice.
The staff knows about gluten intolerance and service is always great!
Wienstein & Gavino’s:
I don’t usually go to Italian restaurants, because well..its all gluten central but whohoooo to Wienstein & Gavino’s for taking gluten free customers seriously and creating a gluten free menu!!
Right downtown on Crescent, with so many gluten free options.
