Little Burgundy

Liverpool House: Love love love!! this place. This is next door to famous Joe Beef (where it’s impossible to get reservation ever) but I love Liverpool House more. Food is amazing, good drinks, impeccable service,  very chilled atmosphere but still trendy. They can accommodate and help you with your order. ( Trudeau and Obama had dinner there recently, if that tells you anything haha)

SPANEL:  This is a MUST go! Buckwheat crepes with all kinds of Montreal goodness in them. My personal favourite is Westmount crepe, it has duck confit, onions, potatoes..good for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
On the weekends, make sure you call in advance or go early, this place gets busy!

Also even though the crepes are gluten free, this is not a gluten free facility, so ALWAYS let waiter know you have an allergy, that way they clean the cooking surface to make sure there is no cross contamination.

Love Love Love this restaurant! They were able to accommodate with “no gluten, no dairy” requirements for me with great success! I ordered heart of soft salmon, carrots coriander and mango chutney, curry coulis dish and for the few moments I was truly in foodie heaven. I might even say I never tried salmon this good!!

My husband and I decided to sell all our appliances and only eat out. There is no way I can ever cook anything this good!

Heart of soft salmon, carrots, coriander and mango chutney condiment, curry coulis.

Glazed black cod, cauliflower mousse, confit daikon, lime foam

I would say this restaurant is more on a quiet and sophisticated side but not overly formal.

CANDIDE:   This is a farm to table restaurant with an amazing selection of wines to go with the meal. The kitchen is open so no matter where you sit, you can see the chef doing his magic. Obviously its super gluten free, but if you have other food allergies/sensitivities they can easily modify the dishes for you, and they do it with pleasure. If you get wine pairing, every time they bring a new wine, they tell you a story of where it came from. I was pregnant while I was going to this restaurant, but just listening about the wines made me feel a little buzzed with pleasure haha

I heard from many people that I recommended this place to that they had the most amazing meal and the best experience ever! GO!

NINI MEATBALLS: This is a fun hang out! Food is awesome, tons of different kinds of meatballs. The owner is also celiac, so there are lots of gluten free options! Very energetic vibe, I go there for beef tartare and wine! Yum! #fridaynights
